WET Couture Swimwear was born in 2008 in Tampa, Florida by designer Angelina Petraglia. By Spring 2009, the line had exploded to include Miami, Florida after following the advice from her childhood best friend to take her dream to the Magic City. Shortly after arriving in Miami, Angelina was offered the job of a lifetime as the Director of Marketing & Events for the Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort and Kitchen 305, inside the Newport Beachside Resort. Shortly thereafter, Angelina began to create fashion shows & high profile, celebrity studded events in Miami.
In October 2009, WET Couture Swimwear kicked into full force in creating a 2010 GES MODELS Calendar with GES Models owner, Therese Yelder. The WET Couture Swimwear 2nd Collection was featured in the FDE Fashion Designer’s Expo in October 2010 in Sunny Isles, Florida. Angelina’s Latin/Italian flair is definitely represented in her line…you will undoubtedly stand out in her unique, sexy, & sassy designs!
